Job specifications
For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:
–
- Cumulative service period of nine (9) years relevant work
experience three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Supply
Chain Management Assistant I or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Procurement or Purchasing and Supply Chain
Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management or Chartered
Institute of Purchasing and Supply;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and
results.

Successful candidates MUST satisfy the requirements
of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of
Kenya, 2010 and shall be required to present the following documents before the
offer letter.
- Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (TCC);
- Certificate of clearance from Higher Education Loans Board
(HELB);
- Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal
Investigations (DCI);
- Dully filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance from the
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
- Clearance certificate from approved Credit Reference Bureau
(CRB).
