Receptionist Job in Kenya - Sanel Hospital

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, register, and guide patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, admissions, and discharge processes.
  • Handle patient billing, invoicing, and payment processing accurately.
  • Process and verify SHA and private insurance documentation, approvals, and claims.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update hospital information systems.
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate effectively with clinical and administrative departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Qualifications


  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Front Office Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a receptionist in a hospital or healthcare facility.
  • Proven knowledge of SHA and private insurance operations.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate with experience in hospital management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
