Key Responsibilities
- Receive, register, and
guide patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient
appointments, admissions, and discharge processes.
- Handle patient billing,
invoicing, and payment processing accurately.
- Process and verify SHA
and private insurance documentation, approvals, and claims.
- Maintain accurate patient
records and update hospital information systems.
- Respond to telephone
calls, emails, and general inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate effectively
with clinical and administrative departments to ensure smooth patient
flow.
- Ensure confidentiality of
patient information at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in
Business Administration, Front Office Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’
experience as a receptionist in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Proven knowledge of SHA
and private insurance operations.
- Strong communication,
customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate with
experience in hospital management systems.
- Ability to work under
pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
