Role Overview
The Clerical
Officer II role provides essential administrative
and clerical support within county departments, health facilities, and public
offices. The position supports daily office operations through accurate
documentation, records management, and customer service functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving, recording, filing, and retrieving
documents, correspondence, and official records in line with established
procedures
- Providing front-office support services,
including responding to inquiries, directing visitors, and handling
routine communication
- Assisting in data entry, preparation of basic
reports, and maintenance of administrative registers
- Supporting supervisors and officers in
day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
- Kenya certificate of secondary education (kcse)
mean grade c plain or its approved equivalent; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
