Duties & Responsibilities

Duties

  • Collecting, maintaining, and managing statistical and administrative records.
  • Handling accounts and personnel-related transactions.
  • Receiving, sorting, filing, and dispatching correspondence and applications.
  • Maintaining an efficient filing and records management system, including digitization.
  • Preparing documents, including initial store issuance documents and Pay Change Advices (PCAs).
  • Compiling, collating, and assisting in the analysis of data.
  • Maintaining stores, equipment inventory, and general office supplies.
  • Monitoring office cleanliness and coordinating general office services.
  • Printing, binding, and preparing documents and materials as required.

Required Qualifications and Competencies


For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:

Must Have

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade C- (Minus) or its equivalent qualification;
  • Passed the Proficiency Examination for Clerical Officers;
  • Proficiency in ICT
