We are
looking to hire an Accounts
Semi-Senior who will be responsible for
managing accounting functions for our clients, including but not limited to
bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, client relationship
management, and Advisory.
Key
Responsibilities
- Effectively plan and execute Bookkeeping
engagements in accordance with all relevant professional standards
(accounting, quality control, and ethical) and Firm policies.
- Handle communication between clients and the
firm.
- Ensuring timely and consistent submission of
monthly management reports.
- Apply appropriate business knowledge in
anticipating, identifying, and addressing issues relevant to the clients’
business.
- Ensure timely processing of clients’ monthly
payroll.
- Ensure timely Preparation, filing, and remitting
of all monthly statutory returns.
- Assisting and facilitating audits, fact checks,
and resolving discrepancies.
- Managing clients’ financial records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new
and existing clients.
- Managing clients’ assignments by prioritizing
tasks, establishing budgets, and monitoring profitability of assigned
engagements, timely billing, and collection of pending payments.
- Supervise, train, and mentor Junior Associates.
Skills
and Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education,
training, and professional experience.
- A Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required, as
well as one or more relevant professional certifications or pursuing
completion of the professional courses (i.e. CPA, ACCA).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and
solid bookkeeping skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho) and strong Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial
reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and
problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and
time management skills to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong team collaboration skills, adaptability,
and the ability to support and train junior staff.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and
professional ethics in handling sensitive financial data.
- Adaptability to new technologies, standards, and
industry practices.
