- Strategy
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the School’s
strategic mission, led by the Superintendent.
- Develop and implement the financial and operational
strategies, policies, and plans that underpin the organisational
objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of the campus master plan as
finances allow.
- Leadership and Management
- Serve as a member of the Rosslyn Academy Executive Team.
- Lead and inspire staff, bring out the best in them, and
facilitate and encourage strong working relationships within the support
staff and throughout the school.
- Manage the performance of direct reports utilizing the Rosslyn
Academy appraisal system.
- Support the training and professional development of direct
reports and the wider support staff.
- Adhere to the standards of leadership as described in the
Leadership domains of the
- Rosslyn Academy Playbook.
- Other: Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Person Specification
- The successful candidate will bring the following
qualifications, experience, skills and knowledge, leadership style, and
values:
Qualifications And Experience
- MBA or other degree providing a solid background in finance
systems and practices.
- Specific training in non-profit accounting methodologies as
described in GAAP and ECFA publications
- A professional or managerial qualification is desirable but
not essential.
- A strong track record of successful executive leadership
experience in a complex organization.
- Direct experience of both strategy and operations, including
finance.
- Experience of working within a complex budgetary structure.
- Proven experience of leading and developing multi-disciplinary
teams.
- Project management, including delivery of capital projects.
- Experience of working internationally and/or in a school would
be an advantage.
