The Credit Analyst is a full-time role responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of individuals, businesses, and institutions applying for financial products such as loans and credit facilities. The selected candidate will play a critical role in analysing financial statements, evaluating risk factors, and preparing detailed credit reports to support sound lending decisions.
This
position contributes to the Bank’s overall credit risk management strategy by
working closely with relationship managers and risk teams to ensure compliance
with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and
business performance to evaluate credit risk and recommend appropriate
lending decisions
- Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, risk
assessments, and supporting documentation for loan approvals
- Conduct industry and market research to support
credit evaluations and risk assessments
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for early
warning signs and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to
understand client needs and structure tailored credit solutions
- Ensure credit documentation is complete,
accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Participate in credit committee meetings and
present findings and recommendations as required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking
regulations, credit policies, and market trends
- Support audit and regulatory reviews by
providing required documentation and information
- Demonstrate strong analytical and
problem-solving skills to manage complex credit scenarios

financial analysis, or banking (entry-level candidates with strong
academic records may be considered)
- Familiarity with credit scoring models, risk
rating systems, and banking regulations is an advantage
