We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and self-driven talented young graduates to join our dynamic learning community.
The
program is designed to provide recent university or college graduates with a
unique opportunity to develop their teaching skills under the guidance of
experienced mentor teachers in an international school setting. As part of our
policy to nurture and develop young graduates, this position offers hands-on
classroom experience, professional development, and mentorship to prepare
candidates for future teaching roles.
Graduate Teacher Assistants will support lead teachers in delivering engaging
lessons and fostering a positive learning environment for young learners in
Year 1-6.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (preferably
Primary Option), Early Childhood Education, or a related field from an
accredited university or college.
- MUST have graduated recently, not earlier than
2023,
- Graduates who have completed their studies but
are waiting to graduate may apply
Commitment to Learning and Development
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for professional growth
and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for working with young children (ages
5-11)
- Adaptability and resilience in dynamic classroom
environments.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with
young learners (Year 1 & 2) and support their social-emotional
development.
Cultural Competency
- Awareness of or willingness to learn culturally
responsive teaching practices to support
diverse student populations in an international school environment. - Ability to adapt to multicultural classroom
settings and community.
Basic Classroom Support Skills
- Willingness to assist with tasks such as
preparing teaching materials, supporting small group activities, and
helping with classroom routines.
- Basic understanding of or interest in learning
classroom management techniques suitable for young learners.
