Key Responsibilities
- Support in the development of content for social
media posts, video, podcasts and other content that promotes the work of
IJM.
- Plan, promote, and execute events such as press
conferences, training and community engagement programs, ensuring all
logistics are managed effectively.
- Track various media outlets to keep the
organization informed on public perception and industry trends.
- Assist in shaping and maintaining IJM brand
identity and perception online and off line.
- Support the execution of social media strategy,
including content creation and scheduling.
- Manage the digital archive and maintain an
organized file-management system for images and videos, ensuring easy
access and retrieval.
- Work with cross functional teams to align
communication strategy with program outcome
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned,
contributing to the overall success of the communications team.
Requirements:
- Degree in journalism or communications,
marketing, public relations or any other related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (particularly
Premiere Pro, InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
- Experience in graphic design, video production
and photography.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate experience with social media
platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, TikTok,
Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
