The holder will be responsible mainly for collecting data from program beneficiaries through surveys, input the data into Salesforce and conduct post survey verification.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct surveys, interviews and other data collection activities. Data collection will mainly focus on:

  • Learner training, internship and post-internship experiences.
  • Alumni participation in paid work, including job attainment, retention, freelancing journey, wage level and career growth.
  • Enter data into a computer database and/or spreadsheet application for subsequent analysis, as guided by the supervisor.

  • Conduct routine verification of data entered into the recruiting system and learner database (Salesforce)
  • Identify discrepancies and errors in data collected and present to the supervisor for resolution.
  • Support in other data collection and data entry activities as requested by the supervisor.
  • Develop or assist in the development of interview schedules. This may include contacting potential subjects to introduce and explain data collection objectives and to arrange interviews, either in person or by virtually.
  • Recommend appropriate data collection methodologies to ensure high response rates and/or improved data quality.
  • Provide regular progress reports of ongoing data collection activities to the supervisor, and a summary at the end of each survey wave.
  • Ensure data security and integrity, and adhere to internal standard operating procedures (SOPs).

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Info System, Statistics, or any other STEM related course from a recognized institution
  • Basic knowledge of database development and management
  • Prior work experience with spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience in data collection and data processing
  • Minimum of 2 years’ related experience
  • Basic understanding of data integrity, key SOPs, and data protection compliance
