Minimum Qualification and Experience
For
appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Diploma
in Secretarial Studies with three (3) years’ working experience;OR
Stage
III Single and Group certificates with nine (9) years working experience;
OR
- Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: Secretarial Studies, Business
Office Management, Business Management or equivalent qualifications from a
recognized and accredited institution;
- Proficiency in
computer applications; and
- Demonstrated
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –
- Taking oral
dictation;
- Word and data
processing;
- Managing
e-office;
- Operating
office equipment;
- Handling
telephone calls and appointments;
- Maintaining
office diary and travel itineraries;
- Managing office
protocol;
- Ensuring
security of office records, documents and equipment;
- Maintaining an
up-to-date filing system in the office;
- Preparing
responses to routine correspondence; and
- Managing office
petty cash.

Five
hard copies should be sent by post or hand delivery to the Administration
Registry at the Assistant Registrar (Human Resource and Administration) office
and a soft copy in PDF format of the application documents with the reference
