Description
Moptions
Capital is a non-deposit taking micro credit institution based in Nairobi. They
are seeking Sales Executives who will work very closely with Sales Manager to
achieve set targets on all Moptions Capital Limited products (Asset finance,
Logbook loans). Identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory to
achieve set sales targets monthly, quarterly and annually.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales
strategies for Moptions Capital products (logbook loan, and asset
finance).
- Research the
market to discover new clients who may be interested in the product.
Working in conjunction with the Relationship Manager, and sales and
marketing team, develop a plan for approaching those potential new
clients.
- Organize
deliveries for special events and ensure that the company is well
represented at the event.
- Analyze market
trends and identify opportunities then use your vast knowledge of the
finance-sale industry to identify new sales opportunities for the company.
That may be a new product line which matches consumer preferences or a new
advertising campaign to reach a certain demographic.
- Investigates
and immediately resolves customer complaints in accordance with company
policy
- Establish and
maintaining effective working relationships with clients, staff and
outsourcing partners.
- Identify sales
prospects and follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field
activity in order to convert into sale
- Keep a keen eye
on market trends and the competition as well as participating in analysis
of competitors’ statistics.
- Prepare
forecasts, sales budgets and reports including activity, closings,
follow-up and adherence to goals.
Requirements:
- KCSE Mean grade
of C plain
- 3-year
experience in sales and marketing role and 1-year experience in a
leadership
- Certificate of
good conduct renewable annually at own expense

- Excellent
negotiation and communication skills, persuasive, and with ability to
network and inter-phase at different levels (Verbal and written)
- Experience of
working in a complex environment to strict deadlines
- Ability when
under pressure to apply calm and logical reasoning and diagnostic skills
- Ability to
investigate and report on new technical areas using own initiative whilst,
organizing and undertaking research as appropriate
- Good at leading
a team and working within a team
- Good computer
skills
- Analytical
skills and ability to translate complex sales reports into meaningful
business knowledge
- Passionate and
knowledgeable about finance-sale industry
Sales
Target
- Your new
business monthly disbursement target will be Ksh. 2,000,000(Two million
Kenya Shillings).
Others
- Marketing
activation; all costs including transport, lunch and materials at company
cost
- Provided with
company branded marketing materials, all which are returnable on
employment termination.
Commission
- 4% of new
business, paid immediately after disbursement or next day/earliest
possible, subject to withholding tax
