Accountant Job in Kenya - AAA Growers

Job objective:

  • To optimize financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy within our operations, enabling data driven decisions, stronger cost efficiencies, and support for future expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with International
  • Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax, in compliance with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) regulations.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Develop and enforce internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Kenya or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in financial management.
