Non-negotiable Experience/Skill-set: Frequent engagement with and complete understanding
of the mechanics/utilization/specifications of Industrial and Scientific
products/equipment as showcased on our e-store, https://shopit.co.ke/ (Generators,
Batteries, Solar, Tools, Safety, Chemicals, and Automotive).
Role Responsibilities
- Consistent engagement with Industrial and Scientific
products/equipment in the market and as per customer requests/needs.
- Merchandising/Sourcing for Industrial and Scientific
products/equipment.
- Up-to-date on trends and market analysis on Industrial and
Scientific products/equipment.
- Ensure effective merchandising and cataloging of Industrial
and Scientific products/equipment.
- Offer technical, customer and sales, support in Industrial and
Scientific products/equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Industrial Equipment/Engineering, Industrial
Chemicals, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably have experience in technical product(s)
merchandising, and technical customer service and sales with Industrial
and Scientific products/equipment.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational
skills.
- Strong customer service and customer care skills
- Experience in the Industrial and Scientific industry with IT,
Retail, or e-Business industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced
team environment and proactively influence others.
- Passion/Interest in the Industrial and Scientific
products/equipment.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of the specifications and
utilization of a large range of Industrial and Scientific
products/equipment.
