Heads the Membership Services and Communications department, responsible for all communications, public relations functions and informational activities as well as develop and implement programs, projects and activities designed to deliver premium membership experience leading to increase and retain members in the Association.
Responsibilities
- Develops internal and external communication policy, strategy
and design appropriate programs and infrastructure to facilitate its
implementation
- Lead event management for the Association
- Oversees preparation of media supplements, documentaries,
press release/media features, overseas production of periodic corporate
affairs reports
- Responsible for the branding of the AAK and its corporate
identity/visibility, including corporate merchandise
- Responsible for Member recruitment and retention campaigns,
interprets membership recruitment and retention statistics and review
member research and make recommendations. Maintain accurate membership
records and marketing databases
- Facilitates information exchange with all stakeholders,
oversees the development of civic education programs
- The sale and delivery of association services to stakeholders
- Responsible for the management of member communications
including responding to member queries and the production and inventory of
membership and marketing material e.g. letters, newsletters, e-bulletins
and brochures
Qualifications
Requirements for the position
- A Bachelor’s degree in either Communications or Public
Relations, Journalism. MassCommunication, Business Administration, Social
Sciences or its equivalent from a recognized university
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),web based communications, social media, and
some basic design software knowledge.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
