Technicians Job in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out routine maintenance required on plant;
  • Installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining existing and new equipment;
  • Following up and recommending action on recurrent faults;
  • Attending to mechanical faults and breakdowns in the Commission;
  • Analyzing and investigating re-current faults; and
  • Adhering to statutory regulations and Commission safety rules and regulations.

Requirements for Appointment   

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six (6) of the constitution.
