Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine maintenance required on plant;
- Installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining existing and
new equipment;
- Following up and recommending action on recurrent faults;
- Attending to mechanical faults and breakdowns in the
Commission;
- Analyzing and investigating re-current faults; and
- Adhering to statutory regulations and Commission safety rules
and regulations.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and or equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution; and
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six (6) of the
constitution.
