Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessment,
planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Administer medications and treatments according to
physician orders.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes
to the physician.
Educate patients and families about their condition,
treatment plan, and self-care instructions..
Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and
ongoing professional development.
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures,
including infection control and safety protocols.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for
patients.
Qualifications
Registered and licensed with the Nursing Council of
Kenya
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised
University KRCHN preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital
setting preferred.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing
principles and procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
problem-solving skills.
Compassionate and empathetic nature.
