Key duties and responsibilities

Implement actions as directed to reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks.

Ensure the team applies the Safety Standards and relevant guidelines.

Implement defined processes to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and local legal obligations.

Implement Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) program on a daily basis to confirm behaviours and processes are followed as specified.

Implement the required security measures to protect the site premises, including the safety of personnel, DSC assets and of the customer’s product for the required area.

Implement and supervise the adherence of up-to-date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs.

Respond to or escalate customer issues within clear guidelines and recommend solutions.


Supervise day-to-day performance, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs and other internal KPIs (e.g. safety, operational, employee related etc).

Implement the Site Development Plan identified actions for the required area.

Representing DSC in a professional manner to customers.

Ensure proper housekeeping to eliminate workplace hazards.

Adhere to all DSC Health and safety rules and regulations and those of our clients.

Qualifications

Relevant University degree or Diploma in Business Management/ Supply Chain Management/Purchasing and Supply Management.

Educated to High School as a standard.

4+ year’s logistics experience.

1+ year’s Finance & Budget Management.

Microsoft office proficiency.
