Duties and
Responsibilities will entail:
Spearheading
negotiations with new and existing licensees for 10% free Carried interest;
Spearheading
development of legal instruments for management of partnerships, mergers, and
acquisitions
Preparing
of agreement policies and structural management details for partnerships,
mergers, and acquisitions.
Analyzing
the benefits and risks involved in partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and
advise management accordingly.
Advising
management on the best strategies to use in partnerships, mergers, and
acquisitions.
Exploring
suitable partnerships and alliances for the Corporation.
Providing
guidance and advising on contractual agreements for mergers, joint ventures,
acquisitions and special purpose vehicles (SPVs) for strategic minerals; and
Preparing
work plan and budgets for approval.
Qualifications
A
minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least
three (3) years in supervisory role;
Bachelor’s
degree in law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce, Business Administration,
Mineral Economics, or its equivalent qualifications;
Masters
degree in Law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce, Business Administration,
Mineral Economics or its equivalent qualifications;
Management
course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Membership
of the relevant professional institution and in good standing;
Certificate
in investment and finance from a recognized institution;
Proficiency
in computer applications; and
Fulfilled
the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
