The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) was established in 1966 to provide financial security for workers in their retirement. FNPF provides social security and financial services for its members. FNPF has over 357,000 members and total managed assets of $3.3 billion.
Our client, the FNPF is currently recruiting two (2) senior Executive Management positions, a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to assist in the management of the financial operations and investments and a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to develop and implement information technology initiatives.
The Chief Financial Officer will manage the Finance Division in FNPF providing financial services and advice to the executive management, Board and other functional areas in FNPF.
Located in Suva, Fiji Islands the key outcomes include:
· Effective management of the Finance Division.
· Financial services that contribute to the efficiency and integrity of FNPF
· Reporting to ensure the executive management, Board and members are well informed
· Statutory and operational compliance
· Leadership of the Finance Division
· Preparing long term operational plans and contributing to strategic plans including CAPEX plans
· Developing and growing FNPF’s Finance Division
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Accounting and be a professional member of a recognised Institute of Accountants. Demonstrated experience in the superannuation sector and in large scale investment modelling is advantageous.
