Job Title: Project Field Coordinator
Responsible
for assisting with field schedules, coordinating site access and logistical
arrangements, communicating with farmers, community representatives and project
partners, maintaining field activity records, monitoring routine field issues,
and providing updates on project progress. Requires a KCSE qualification or
equivalent, basic experience working with communities or field activities. The
position is based in Meru and requires fieldwork.
Job Objective
The
Project Field Coordinator will serve as the operational link between the
Project Director and local stakeholders in Meru (e.g. the farmers).
Key Responsibilities
Assist
the Project Director in preparing field schedules and coordinating site access
and basic logistical arrangements.
Communicate
with farmers, community representatives, project partners and other
stakeholders regarding planned field activities.
Maintain
simple records of field activities, materials, attendance, challenges and
agreed action points.
Monitor
routine field-level issues and promptly report significant concerns to the
Project Director.
Provide
brief verbal and written updates on field activities and progress.
Qualifications
Kenya
Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
Basic
experience working with people, communities or field-based activities.
Ability
to maintain simple records and prepare brief activity updates.
Good
interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable,
organised and able to follow instructions.
Must
reside in Meru and be available to undertake project activities without
requiring travel or accommodation arrangements.
