Job Title: Grants & Program Finance Officer
Responsible for managing donor budgets and
expenditure tracking, monitoring grant burn rates, preparing donor financial
reports, supporting audits and compliance, developing grant and proposal
budgets, preparing forecasts, conducting variance and programme cost analysis,
preparing management accounts and cash flow forecasts. Requires a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration,
CPA-K, 4–5 years’ experience. The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site
work.
Purpose of the Role
The
Grants & Program Finance Officer is responsible for donor financial
management, grant budgeting, program financial planning, financial analysis,
forecasting, and financial reporting.
The role
ensures that donor investments are translated into measurable program results
and that program teams have accurate financial information to support
implementation.

Management Reporting
Prepare
monthly management accounts.

Board and donor reporting.
Produce

Program Support
Train

Qualifications
CPA-K
Required
Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or Business Administration
4–5
years experience in donor-funded grants management
Strong
budgeting and financial analysis experience
Experience
developing donor reports and proposal budgets
Advanced
Excel and financial modelling skills
Proficiency
in QuickBooks
