Role Summary
The
Store Manager is
responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of all assigned tasks within
the store while driving retail operations to maximize sales, profitability and
effective stock management. The role is accountable for delivering a
best-in-class customer experience (NPS) and achieving sustainable business
growth. Additionally, the Store Manager leads people development initiatives by
building strong second-line leadership, effectively managing retail operations,
fostering employee engagement and retaining talent within the store.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance by maximizing revenue opportunities and
ensuring smooth and accurate transaction management within the store.
- Lead workforce planning by ensuring adequate resource availability
to effectively serve customers and manage store traffic flow.
- Develop and empower teams through continuous training, skill
enhancement and capability building to meet current and future business
challenges.
- Foster a safe, engaged and high-performing work environment by
promoting health & safety standards, employee engagement, and talent
retention.
- Strengthen customer relationships by understanding customer
preferences, improving customer experience (NPS), driving retention and
ensuring customer safety.
- Ensure flawless execution of all in-store service initiatives,
including marketing, human capital, digital operations and customer
experience programs.
- Oversee retail operations by managing stock, shrinkage, waste,
promotions, order fulfillment, omnichannel operations, store maintenance,
sustainability and operational cost control to support EBITDA growth.
- Drive commercial excellence through data-driven decision-making,
strong business acumen, competitive market awareness and effective time
management within the store.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Retail Management,
Commerce, Marketing or a related field, with relevant retail operations
experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to
coach, motivate, develop and retain high-performing teams.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
with a strong focus on customer experience and relationship management.
- Strong commercial and operational knowledge, including sales growth,
inventory management, merchandising, shrinkage control and omnichannel
retail operations.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the
ability to interpret business data and drive operational improvements.
- Sound understanding of financial management, health & safety
standards, compliance, organizational planning and cost control within a
retail environment.
