Salary Range: KES 150,000 – 180,000 per month (based on education and experience)

We
are seeking a highly competent, ethical, and strategic Finance Manager to
provide financial leadership, ensure responsible stewardship of resources,
strengthen internal controls, and support the long-term financial
sustainability of the institution.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall financial stewardship and oversight of all
institutional financial resources.
- Lead preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and funding
projections.
- Monitor financial performance through monthly Budget-vs-Actual
analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional financial policies, donor
requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Oversee accounting functions including payables, receivables,
payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Provide financial analysis, sustainability planning, and
cost-control strategies to support organizational growth.
- Supervise and mentor finance, accounting, and procurement staff.
- Support leadership in strategic planning, resource mobilization, and
financial decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration,
or a related field.
- CPA (K) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance or financial
management role.
- Registered member of ICPAK in good standing.
- Experience in a school, NGO, or nonprofit environment is an added
advantage.
