MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: –
- Drive sales growth and account conversion within the assigned
area to meet or exceed targets.
- Lead, coach, supervise, and manage sales teams (sales
representatives, merchandisers, direct salesmen) to ensure high
performance and adherence to SOPs and KPIs.
- Develop and execute effective area sales and marketing
strategies aligned with company revenue and profit objectives.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying
and developing new businessopportunities.
- Implement and monitor field/in-store sales processes to ensure
optimal product distribution, visibility and brand presence.
- Coordinate sales support resources (customer service,
distributors, management) to meet customer expectations and performance
goals.
- Monitor sales trends, conduct market and competitor analysis,
and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales
reports, forecasts and performance evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with
distributors, wholesalers, modern trade, supermarkets and institutions.
- Represent the company in distributor and trade engagements,
handling claims, complaints, and recommendations professionally.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, HR, Factory)
to support sales execution and maximize product visibility.
- Uphold the company’s brand image, values, and Service First
culture while participating in industry events and budgeting activities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have a Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or
Business Studies.
- Must have KCSE grade C+ and above;
- Ability to work in a team and communicate in a clear way.
- Meets assigned team quotas for sales, profits and strategic
objectives.
- Offer timely reports; on performance, market trends and
competitors report
- Possess personal qualities of integrity and credibility
- Must have minimum 3 years’ work experience in a dairy
industry.
