Job Summary
CITAM
seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated
to fill the position of a Waiter / Waitress, whose responsibility will be to provide excellent
customer service to customers
The
position reports to the Catering Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm that the dishes and kitchenware to be
used for service are clean and presentable.
- Ensure that the dining tables are clean,
properly arranged and set up with clean linen, cutlery, and glasses.
- Provide excellent customer service to the
customers.
- Handle customer queries, conduct evaluation of
customer satisfaction levels and escalate any major concerns.
- Ensure that customers are billed on time and
that all bills are settled as per the set guidelines.
- Ensure high hygiene standards are observed
during food service.
- Ensure food and beverages are replenished as
necessary.
- Ensure used cutlery and all used equipment are
taken care of.
- Practical knowledge of ISO standards or any
other standards for hospitality institutions.
- Maintain a proper record keeping system for easy
retrieval.
Requirements
- Must be a born-again, mature Christian who
conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
- Diploma in Food Production and Service or a
related course from a reputable institution. A degree in a relevant field
will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in a busy set up.
- IT competence with a bias in hotel related
Systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
(verbal and written).
