Field Coordinator Job in Kenya - CultivAid

Basic Requirements:

  • Language: Fluency in Hebrew and English (spoken and written).
  • Relocation: Relocation to Embu, Kenya is required. 
  • Education: Degree in Agriculture, Business, Sustainability, International Development, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in coordination, administration, or field operations.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication abilities, with experience managing field teams.
  • Proficiency with digital tools: Microsoft Office, Google Drive; familiarity with Monday.com is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordination:


  • Participate in weekly planning meetings and translate decisions into clear task lists.
  • Coordinate the implementation of weekly and daily work plans.

Operations Oversight:

  • Supervise day-to-day farm operations, ensuring punctuality, task completion, and adherence to protocols.
  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor progress, identify gaps, and provide corrective guidance.
  • Ensure proper use, return, and safekeeping of all equipment and close-out of operations at the end of each day.

Administration & Logistics:

  • Communication with suppliers, service providers, and external partners.
  • Coordinate logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control to support smooth operations.
  • Oversight of seedling payment processes, ensuring compliance with established financial protocols.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Implement monitoring and evaluation processes to track performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure all staff is maintaining accurate progress records through digital tools (e.g., Monday.com) and provide timely reports to management.
  • Authorize and verify job-related activities within approved frameworks.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Facilitate collaboration between field staff, agri agents, and technical teams.
  • Liaise with farmer clusters, irrigation schemes, and other partners to support program objectives.

Technical & Team Support:

  • Provide operational and technical assistance to field teams as required.
  • Support communication with Technical team and field staff
  • Support agronomists, nursery managers, and other technical staff in achieving project targets.
