Duties
and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Examining vouchers, cashbooks, and ledgers,
     confirming the propriety and accuracy of the transactions;
- Auditing annual accounts;
- Undertaking audit inspections of co-operative
     societies; and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the
     immediate supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
For
appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following
     disciplines: Commerce, Economics (Lower Second Class), or Business
     Administration from a recognized institution;
OR
- Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Kenya Part II
     or Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) Part III from a recognized
     institution; and
- Certificate in computer applications from a
     recognized institution.
