The Warehouse
Trainees are expected to follow all the
instructions given in regard to our Standard Operating Procedures, Good
Distribution Practice and ensure adherence to the company policies among other
roles as listed below.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and
maintained in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Receive deliveries from suppliers, ensuring
compliance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Transfer medicines to appropriate storage
shelves, ensuring proper handling, labeling, shelving, and coding.
- Monitor and record storage conditions, including
temperature and humidity, to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical
standards.
- Implement and maintain First Expiry, First Out
(FEFO) and First In, First Out (FIFO) systems for storage and issuance of
stock.
- Participate in spot checks, stock takes, and
inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and secure dispatch of medicines
to all designated destinations.
- Attend training sessions on product
identification, counterfeit detection, and warehouse security.
- Ensure training in Good Distribution Practices
(GDP) and Generics Africa Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Any other duty as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain
or any Business-related course.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent team player with strong
problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Quick learner.
