Key responsibilities:
Registration, collection and processing of client
samples within the limits of specific tests
Communication of laboratory results to internal and
external customers
Maintain high standards of quality laboratory
practice by the use of proper reagents well calibrated machines and a clean
working environment
Observe efficient usage of reagents, glassware and
equipment.
Preparation of laboratory reports
Participation in internal QC programs and log in the
appropriate registers
Position requirements and other competencies:
A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science
Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya
Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in
medical laboratory functions
ICT competency
Excellent customer service
Self-motivated and a team player
Pleasant personality
