Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative Southeast Asian-inspired menus,
showcasing the vibrant flavors and diverse ingredients of the region.
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and
efficient operations during service.
- Maintain a high level of food quality and consistency through
active participation in the preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Manage inventory, including ordering ingredients, monitoring
stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for
revenue growth and cost control.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive
and supportive work environment.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations adhere to health and safety
regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Required Qualifications And Experience:
- Culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or
similar role, with a proven track record in Asian – Pan Asian cuisine.
- Excellent knowledge of Asian culinary techniques, ingredients,
and flavor profiles (Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and any
additional is a plus).
- Creative and innovative approach to menu development,
showcasing a passion for Asian cuisine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
