Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor
Industry: Renewable Energy.
Job Purpose: Supply Chain supervisor coordinates, organizes, and
oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition,
production, and distribution of the companies’ goods.
Responsibilities
Lead the supply chain team to source and procure the
right material at the right price and quality.
Monitor, Evaluate and be the key Custodian of all
contracts with suppliers.
Negotiate with key suppliers for components and 3rd
party logistics partners.
Manage and minimize the risks that could affect or
interrupt the supply chain
Key custodian of Developing Managing and Monitoring
of the Supply Chain Strategy of the Company.
Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing
their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
Prepare and control Supply Chain Budgets with the
aim of minimizing expenditure and increasing efficiency
Assess, manage, and mitigate risks that may occur
within the Supply Chain.
Monitor progress of Purchase orders, provide and
request related logistic documentation, observe and check the progress of
completion and if necessary, adjusting status of the supplies
Consistently communicate with the various
stakeholders to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational
requirements.
Work closely with the Executive team in ensuring
effective relationships with customer businesses through maintaining an
appropriate alignment between suppliers and customers.
Any other duties assigned by management from time to
time
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in procurement and supplies chain
3-5 years solid corporate company experience in
supply chain role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with
a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with
vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to
detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
