Job Title: Project Officer
Responsible
for supporting project planning and implementation, tracking activities and
deliverables, conducting literature reviews, supporting research tools and
protocols, transcribing interviews, managing qualitative and quantitative data,
analysing. Requires a Master’s degree in Research, Social Sciences, Business,
Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field.
Job Objective
To
support research and project implementation through data management, analysis,
reporting, and coordination of project activities and ensure timely tracking,
documentation, and delivery of project outputs and research deliverables
Key Responsibilities
Support
project planning, implementation tracking and coordination of activities and
deliverables.
Conduct
literature reviews and support the development of research tools and
protocols.
Transcribe
interviews and focus group discussions.
Clean,
organise, code and manage qualitative and quantitative data.
Conduct
data analysis, interpretation and synthesis of findings.
Contribute
to donor reports, research reports, case studies, presentations, publications
and other knowledge products.
Maintain
project trackers and follow up required information from project staff,
consultants and partners.
Support
the organisation and documentation of project meetings and research
activities.
Any other
duties allocated by line manager
Qualifications
Masters
degree in research, social sciences, business, development studies, project
management or another relevant field.
Demonstrated
experience in research, transcription, data analysis and report writing.
Proficiency
in qualitative and quantitative data-analysis software.
Strong
organisational, analytical and communication skills.
