Tropical Heat is hiring a Graduate – Sales Admin to process customer orders, assist the sales team, and support daily administrative sales operations.
About the Role
Tropical Heat is looking for a motivated and intellectually curious graduate to join our team as a Sales Administrator Graduate Star. This graduate program offers a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges, working alongside experienced sales and administrative professionals.
The
successful candidate will provide administrative support to the sales team,
handle tasks such as order processing and data management, and communicate with
clients to help enhance the overall productivity of the sales department. You
will contribute to the full lifecycle of sales administration, ensuring smooth
operations and efficient processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Accurately process sales
orders, ensuring all details are correct and complete while coordinating
with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Customer Support: Serve as the first point of
contact for clients regarding order inquiries, delivery updates, and
general sales-related issues.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints
and escalate issues when necessary to maintain service quality.
- Coordination & Communication: Liaise between the sales
team and other departments, such as marketing, finance, and logistics, to
ensure cohesive operations.
- Administrative Support: Monitor and ensure
compliance with company policies, procedures, and terms of sales
agreements.
- Resource Management: Manage material
requisitions on a need-to-need basis for meetings or client sampling, and
oversee office supplies for the sales team.
- Inventory Oversight: Track inventory levels and
coordinate with relevant teams to manage stock replenishment.
- Documentation: Document sales processes and administrative
workflows to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute
fresh ideas to solve business problems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within the last 12
months) of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a
related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Google Workspace
and CRM tools/ sales processes is an advantage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal
stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving
abilities to handle operational challenges.
