We are seeking to recruit Warehouse Officers to be based in Meru depot.


The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure proper warehouse and stock management. This includes receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating stock takes, overseeing warehouse organization, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate monthly stock takes and report on variances.
  • Ensure accurate stocks through proper maintenance of stock records (manual and Zoho system).
  • Arrange stores in line with FIFO standards and ensure safe stacking to avoid losses.
  • Receive goods, conduct physical checks against delivery notes, and prepare GRNs.
  • Dispatch goods according to pick lists and packing lists while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Head Office on reorders.
  • Supervise store staff and casual labour.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in warehouse or stock management.
  • Proficiency in stock management systems (experience with Zoho is an added advantage).
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Good supervisory and communication skills.
  • High integrity and attention to detail.
  • Valid driving licence with the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle. (MUST)
  • Should be available immediately.
