About The Role
Our client, a fast-growing retail business operating liquor stores, is seeking proactive reliable and customer-focused Sales Clerk to join our alcoholic beverages retail team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth store operations during night hours
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting alcoholic beverages and related
products
- Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately
- Restock shelves and ensure products are well displayed
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Verify customer age and comply with alcohol sales regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- Support opening and closing procedures for the night shift
Requirements
- Diploma in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in alcoholic
beverages
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge
- Honest, responsible, and customer-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverage brands and products
- Inventory management skills
- Strong teamwork abilities
