Administrative Assistant Job in Kenya - Nairobi Waldorf School

The Administrative Assistant strengthens the effectiveness of the Office of the Director by driving strategic planning, supporting execution of key initiatives, coordinating institutional governance processes, and ensuring high-level administrative and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage student admissions, registration, and enrollment processes.
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective parents and guardians.
  • Scheduling appointments for prospective parents with relevant class teachers or PT Leads

  • Maintain and update school information, student files, databases and records
  • Manage daily office operations and administrative procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating school transport, catering, grounds & maintenance, cleaning & sanitation, security and other support services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support health, safety, and safeguarding procedures in collaboration with the school nurse.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Education Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
