Camp Administrator Job in Kenya - Kicheche Camps

Job Summary

Administration of all camp operations and reporting; assist the manager in all back-of-the-house jobs.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business administration/Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge in reports, resource management, cost control and personnel matters.

  • Accounting skills
  • People skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Hospitality operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Help the manager with all camp administration duties
  • Monthly camp reports ,produce and cross-check with the manager all monthly reports .Income sheets, Expense sheet (PC declarations),Muster roll, Bednight figures & origin of clients ,F&B consumption, Fuel, Vehicle Summary (included work carried out & mileage),Solar & other equipment maintenance sheet.
  • Keep a well-organized list of maintenance duties ordered to the maintenance team
  • Supervise the stock takes and income for the shop
  • HR matters- coordinate staff uniforms, duty rosters and staff off days. Follow clear company employment procedures for temporary employees and contractors. Make sure staff camp is maintained in good condition.
  • Health & Safety -In liaison with the camp manager, make sure OSH and eco standards are met at all times
  • Any other task assigned by the camp manager including hosting guests
