What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring
compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly accounts (P&L, balance
sheet, variance analysis).
- Oversee cash flow, receivables, and payables for
healthy working capital.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and monitor
performance vs. budget.
- Calculate landing costs (freight, duties, taxes)
to ensure accurate pricing.
- Recommend product pricing strategies to support
profitability.
- Ensure tax compliance and accurate filing of
returns.
- Partner with procurement & sales for
financial alignment on decisions.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external
audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (CPA or
equivalent mandatory).
- 3+ years’ experience in finance/accounting
(importation, retail, or distribution preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, customs,
and financial regulations.
Experience in product costing, pricing, and margin analysis. - Strong analytical, reporting, and
problem-solving skills.
- Integrity, accuracy, and cross-functional
collaboration.
