We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and Kenyan financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, maintain and reconcile general ledger
accounts.
- Ensure accurate data entry of financial
transactions in accounting software.
- Process & maintain accurate records of
accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor and track company expenses.
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory
deductions.
- Prepare and submit statutory tax returns (VAT,
PAYE, Corporate Tax) as per Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) regulations.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions
(NHIF, NSSF, PAYE).
- Support internal and external audits by
providing necessary documentation.
- Support financial planning and forecasting.
