We are seeking a Technical Sales Executive at PowerPoint Systems (EA) Ltd to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge technical understanding and sales excellence to drive client-focused energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development


  • Generate leads and actively pursue corporate clients, institutions, industries, and large commercial opportunities.
  • Conduct client visits, site assessments, and presentations to pitch tailored energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and technical-commercial offers.
  • Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Technical Understanding & Support

  • Understand client energy needs and advise on optimal solar and hybrid energy solutions.
  • Liaise with design and engineering teams to ensure proposed systems are technically sound.
  • Demonstrate product functionality and assist in post-sale technical clarifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest renewable energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain weekly sales reports, and pipeline tracking.
  • Coordinate with the projects and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback from the market to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualifications in Electrical EngineeringRenewable EnergyMechatronicsSales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in solar/energy/technical products.
  • Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and energy audits.
  • Proven ability to close sales in a B2B/corporate environment.
  • Proficient in preparing BOQs, technical drawings (basic), and commercial documentation.

Key Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Confident in engaging with CEOs, engineers, procurement teams, and end-users.
  • Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • High integrity and professional work ethic.
  • Tech-savvy — familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic solar design software (e.g., PVsyst or Helioscope) is a plus.
