Summer Flowers is a division within AAA Roses where
we specialize in cultivation and distribution of high-quality Summer Flowers.
We supply a wide assortment of summer flowers all over the world everyday
fresh. Quality is our key deliverable, and a happy customer is our main goal.
As the Operations Manager for Summer Flowers, you
will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our summer flowers
facility. This means ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently
and cost-effectively, including planting, harvesting, crop maintenance,
scouting, and land preparation. We also expect you to strategically deal with
hiccups that may threaten your success together with other managers within

Your tasks and responsibilities
Ensure all operations are carried out in an
appropriate, cost-effective manner, including planting, harvesting, crop
maintenance, scouting, and land preparation
Develop and manage production forecasts to
align with market demand and company goals.
Adjust production plans as necessary based on
forecast changes and operational needs.
Implement and improve operational management
systems, processes, and best practices.
Purchase materials and plan inventory to ensure
seamless production flow.
Plan and manage inventory to ensure optimal
stock levels and minimize waste.
Perform quality controls and monitor production
KPIs to maintain high standards.
Train and supervise staff under you to ensure a
skilled and efficient workforce.
Foster a positive and productive work
environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses, make
sure we stay within the budgets that have been agreed within Summer Flowers.
Set policies and processes, ensure all
processes are captured in policies and processes for all employees to access.
Ensure we adjust procedures and policies are updated according to new
developments.
Ensure employees work productively and develop
professionally. Employees are our biggest asset. Together with your team you
are responsible for ensuring that staff engagement and satisfaction is
maintained.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture,
Business Administration, or a related field.
5-7 years’ experience in a farm of the same
capacity; dealing with Summer Flowers
Excellent Leadership skills and management
skills
Analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal and
communication skills and team player facilitating cross-functional
collaboration.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability
to make decisions quickly
Good Command of the English language, both
verbal and written.
Proficient Computer skills in MS Office
applications, particularly with Excel.
