Job purpose:
Responsible
for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our
organization’s computer networks and systems.
Key
Responsibilities
Design,
implement, test, and manage network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and
WLANs.
Configure
and manage VLANs to segment network traffic and improve security
Work
closely with other IT team members to support and improve overall IT
infrastructure.
Network
management, access control and administration
Implement
and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and other security
infrastructure.
Maintain
detailed documentation of network configuration
Conduct
regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
Generate
reports on network performance and security incidents
Qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional
Certification in CCNA certification, N+ or equivalent.
Minimum 5
years of hands-on experience with a deep understanding of network protocols,
network security, and troubleshooting.
Experience
with firewall configuration and management.
Proven
experience with VLAN configuration and management.
Proficiency
in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches.
Syspro
knowledge will be a definite advantage
