Planning Officer

Job Summary:
The Planning Officer will assist on developing, implementing and reviewing
policies and strategies for planning; performance management; monitoring & evaluation and providing leadership on implementation of the Institute’s Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and collating statistical data;
  • Implementing Institute’s strategic plan and service charter;
  • Implementing Institute’s performance contract and master plan;
  • Conducting corporate research, economic analysis and strategies;
  • Undertaking feasibility studies and service delivery surveys; and
  • Providing input in the preparation of development plans. 

Qualifications



For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: – Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, project planning and management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and
  • In addition to the professional qualifications, successful candidate will be required to meet the expectations of Chapter 6 on Leadership and Integrity
