Summary: Supply Chain Management Assistant III at County Assembly of Taita Taveta: Handles daily procurement, manages inventory, and maintains purchasing records. Requires a Supply Chain/Procurement diploma and CIPS certification. Full-time.
Duties and Responsibilities
An
officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties
and responsibilities will entail:
- maintaining security and safe custody of stores;
- preparing stores requisitions;
- undertaking procurement and storage activities;
- preparing payment vouchers for suppliers; and distributing
quotations requests;
- issuing and rationing of stores; and
- making recommendations for disposal of unserviceable stores.
Requirement for Appointment
For
appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
- Diploma in Stores Management/Supply Chain Management or its
equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be a registered member of KISM will be an added advantage
- Certificate in computer application skills.
