Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Software
Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Control and
Instrumentation, or equivalent qualification from a recognized
institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications.

results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and reviewing regulations, strategies, and guidelines
for Earth observation data utilization;
- Performing remote sensing applications, digital image processing,
and interpretation, providing technical analysis of data;
- Generating training materials and training sessions on Earth
Observation related programmes;
- Undertaking acquisition, processing, distribution, and archiving of
space-derived data, ensuring proper storage and retrieval systems;
- Undertaking research on development of Earth observation satellites
and promoting their use for various applications;
- Undertaking research and innovation initiatives related to Earth
observation, contributing to new technological developments;
- Establishing and maintaining networks and partnerships with
stakeholders to enhance Earth observation activities;
- Conducting in-depth needs assessments for Earth observation data and
analyzing requirements from stakeholders;
- Implementing guidelines for managing and sharing Earth observation
data with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with standards;
- Promoting access to Earth observation data and products, ensuring
that relevant stakeholders benefit from the information;
- Implementing Earth observation programs, projects and activities;
- Supporting the development of Earth observation applications and
solutions, assisting in the design and development processes;
- Liaising with stakeholders to facilitate research and innovation in
