HR / Personnel Officer Job in Kenya - Kapi

We’re looking for a hands‑on HR / Personnel Officer to lead people operations, drive compliance, and support our growing team. This is a one‑year fixed‑term role with real impact: you’ll move us from informal HR practices to a structured, proactive system that empowers employees and management alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee records
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company policies
  • Support managers with performance reviews and training needs
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes

  • Draft and maintain an Employee Handbook and HR policies
  • Promote open communication and a positive workplace culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR certification (CHRP, CIPD) is an advantage
  • 3+ years’ HR management experience, ideally in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment law
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
