Job Description
Ensuring compliance to the general underwriting
policies, processes and procedures to support achievement of overall
departmental and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
Ensuring that all policies/risks that have been
ACCEPTED are compliant to underwriting guidelines and Regulators guidelines.
Preparing and approving cover up to set limits
Preparing quotations.
Issuing vehicle valuation and risk survey appointment
letters
Preparing underwriting reports
Issuing Motor certificates, No Claim Discount
Letters, COMESA cards and Travel
Ensuring customer service to both internal and
external clients by providing required underwriting services and documents
Ensuring compliance to the general underwriting related company communication
Ensure premium and data capture within set standards
Processing refund
Reviewing, Preparing and dispatching renewal notices
And any other duties assigned

Academic Qualifications Key Job Skills (specific to
the job)
At least 2 years of Relevant Experience
Undergraduate degree in any relevant experience
Business related field or equivalent
Professional Qualifications
Diploma in AIIK or CII or in process of attaining the
qualification (added advantage)
