eLearning Consultant
Job
purpose
The
E-Learning Consultant’s role is to contribute to the planning, management and
successful implementation of the e-learning solutions delivered by the
e-learning Business Unit.
The
key results areas associated with this position are:
a.
Cash generation
To
implement, maintain and manage optimal project financial management and
resource utilisation.
b.
Client delight
Maintain
client delight through management or maintenance and the management of a
client-centric relationship.
c.
Partner trust
Build
and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partners.
d.
Staff engagement
Key
responsibilities
- Plan and attend
project expectation meetings
- Prepare for and
attend internal and external project start up briefing sessions
- Ensure a deep
understanding of the full scope of the project
- Plan and execute
project implementation i.e. project management
- Preparation of
the client organisation for e-learning as a new learning modality
- Conduct and
support change management activities
- Prepare, analyse
and interpret data from learner management systems used to deploy and
manage the e-learning content
- Content mapping
and alignment to client specific learning requirements
- Facilitate
orientation and training sessions
- Conduct CSI
ratings
- Manage multiple
projects with accountability for client delight in line with
implementation and project deadlines
- Develop deep
client relationships
- Manage and
execute on client expectations
- Provide advice
and support to client administrators and stakeholders
Key
Requirements
- Be a holder of a
Bachelors degree in IT or BBIT or any other related field
- At least 2 years
experience with E-Learning solutions
- Certification in
project management will be highly advantaged
- Extensive
understanding of e-learning instructional design
